Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Friday called up TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao and sought his party’s support for UPA’s Presidential nominee Pranab Mukherjee.
“Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today congratulated KCR on the TRS victory in Parkal assembly bypoll. PM urged TRS to support UPA’s Presidential candidate Pranab Mukherjee,” TRS sources said.
When contacted for his response, TRS MLA K Taraka Rama Rao said he felt that there may not be a contest at all for the post of President
